What do you think about 'exclusives'?

Trevor says sceptical if it's a PR consultant - usually it's not really an exclusive. More often than not it's not usuable (if it's 2,500 words and we've got space for less than 500).

BBC - shares Trevor's scepticism about PRs. Usually if we are prepared to to call it 'exclusive' we will have put a lot into it oourselves.

Simon from KM - we would ask why has someone offered this to us, are we stupid or what?
