‘Racing to the Top’ requires a more strategic approach to collaboration
London must dramatically improve its ability to collaborate across the Higher Education Sector and Industry if it is to compete successfully in the ‘Race to the Top’ envisaged by the recently published Sainsbury Review.
We believe that by taking a more strategic approach to collaboration with a wider base of stakeholders, London can transform its ability to tackle global problems. In this paper, we propose ideas on processes, procedures and structures that can encourage diverse London HEIs to engage in effective collaboration between themselves and industry.
